As well some hairpieces are made by hand, and each individual hair colour can slightly differ in shade. These colour swatches are intended to give you a good depiction of the shading, yet may fluctuate slightly from one piece to another.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this topper "Top it off with Layers" for the price. I have also purchased the "Top it off with Fringe" for a cool, pixie look. I have been buying wigs (mostly human hair) for several years to get the realism that I was looking for. Wigs are hot and bulky and too dense versus my bio hair. I wear wigs but don't really like wearing them. Instead, I would prefer to wear my bio hair pulled up with a faux hair bun, but my hair thinning got worse, so it was either wear wigs or try something else. I bought this topper to hide hair thinning and cover grays as they come quickly these days. This hair topper (Midnight Brown) matches my colored hair choice very well (Madison Reed - Barletta Brown- 4.5NNN). I shortened my bio hair to go better with the layers in the topper. In the photos with my review, I had gray roots at almost 2" but the topper hid them completely. The movable (hook&loop) clips are a great feature and keep the topper securely in place. The hairdo topper was a bit shiny at first, so I used some dry shampoo to reduce the shine. I would say that it looks very close to human hair upon doing that. It's believable, and that's what I care most about. I wear a left side part, so I could clip the topper to align with my natural part. People would have to get up very close to know that the topper isn't my real hair. This topper has given me great confidence, and the straight hair style is more like how I wear my bio hair. I have bought multiples in this exact same topper to have on hand when I wear them out. I think that they will last a long time though. I hope that Hairdo does not ever change this style. Although, it would be awesome if they made a slightly longer version in the same style.
