The Infrared Duo Styler redefines modern heat styling for both alternative fibers and natural hair. Designed with radiant heat technology and an integrated cooling system, it delivers precision styling with enhanced control and efficiency.
Instead of relying solely on high temperatures like conventional irons, this advanced tool shapes and sets each strand in a single step. The built-in cooling function helps lock in your look instantly, reducing unnecessary heat exposure while promoting a sleek, polished finish that lasts.
Highlights & Benefits
This tool is intended for use on natural hair, alternative human hair, and heat-safe synthetic fibers. It should not be used on standard, non-heat-resistant synthetic fiber.
- Radiant Infrared System
Uses penetrating infrared warmth to help retain hydration, smooth the outer layer of the strand, and reduce protein damage. The result is softer, shinier, and more controlled hair with noticeably less frizz.
- Built-In Cooling Airflow
Cools each section as you style, helping curls and sleek finishes set immediately without clips or waiting time.
- Rounded Ceramic Plates
The contoured edges allow you to create straight looks, waves, or curls using a single tool. The extended 5.25” heated surface offers greater coverage and improved styling control for quicker results.
- Variable Heat Control
Multiple temperature options provide safe, customizable styling for both human hair and heat-friendly fibers.
Important: Never style without protection. Spray Jon Renau Heat Protectant onto dry human hair or heat-resistant synthetic fiber before using heated tools.
Getting Started
- Press and hold the power button to switch the tool on.

How to Style
For Heat-Safe Synthetic Fiber & Alternative Human Hair
- Begin with hair that is fully dry. Secure your wig or topper firmly onto a mannequin or block head before you start styling.
- If working with heat-friendly synthetic fiber, keep the temperature at 285°F (140°C) or below. Do not go beyond this setting. For alternative human hair, adjust the temperature up to 355°F (180°C) maximum and do not exceed this limit.
- Turn on the cooling feature before styling to ensure the airflow system is active.
- Divide the hair into small, manageable sections—about 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide—for the best control and results.
- Use the rounded plate edges to form curls or waves, or glide the tool straight down the strand for a sleek finish. The radiant heat shapes the hair while the built-in airflow helps set the style immediately.
- Let each section cool completely before combing, brushing, or handling to maintain the finished look.
